The piano studio provides professional piano training, master classes to students that wish to treat music lessons seriously and be dedicated to their music education.

The curriculum built for the piano studio can lead a student to becoming a professional pianist. It doesn’t mean that every student enrolled has to become a pianist but it is important to understand that only with a daily and serious commitment can it be possible to posses solid piano skills to be carried forward also as an adult.

Too often, students take lessons for many years and when they stop they don’t keep anything of what they thought to have learned. It is better to stop the student as soon as the teacher understands that he/she is not disposed to study piano otherwise it becomes frustrating for the student, the teacher and the parents that invest a lot of energy with hopes to see their children play piano well.

In order to better understand the level, aptitude and general expectations of the students and families, before the enrollment, the candidate will undergo an audition/interview. Also in this step it is important to see if there is a good connection between the student and the teacher.

The committed students will be highly encouraged to take part in the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations so they can have established goals to work toward. Also the students will be eligible to play in community recitals. The best students will be prepared for major piano competitions.

The studio also offers a highly professional level of classical piano concerts with a wide range of repertoire from baroque, classical, romantic, post-romantic to contemporary periods.
